Important Facts about Guardiano Cane Corsos

It is extremely important to socialize Cane Corso’s at an early age.  They need to be exposed to different people, animals, sounds, and sights preferably before 4 months old.  The more experiences they have the better.  This helps the dog have a better range of what normal behavior is and know whether or not they need to respond in a protective manner.  Socializing helps the dog to be more well rounded and unafraid.  Without socialization it becomes easy for them to become fearful or aggressive

About Guardiano Cane Cosrsos Dog's

Cane Corso’s are best suited to experienced pet owners with confident leadership skills. They are not a good first pet.   A large, securely fenced yard is also preferable.  The Cane Coroso is intelligent and has a strong temperament, this is why they need a confident, consistent owner. Otherwise, it could be easy for this dog to dominate the household or become aggressive.  They also don’t do well with anyone who is afraid of or dislikes dogs.  They do well under firm, calm leadership.  They understand the tone of voice and respond well to praise and well as firm corrections.  They need to know the set boundaries of the house and those boundaries need to be enforced at all times.
